Every new Code Forged Digital website includes a post-launch hypercare period. Starter sites and landing pages include two weeks of hypercare, while business websites include four weeks. During this period, CFD provides support for launch-related issues within the approved project scope. After hypercare, clients can continue receiving support through a hosting and maintenance agreement, while additional updates, integrations or enhancements are quoted or billed separately.

Yes, if client-managed updates are identified as a project requirement. Code Forged Digital can integrate an appropriate content management system and provide controlled editing access and an initial walkthrough. Not every website requires a Content Management System (CMS); when updates are infrequent, having CFD make changes may be simpler and more cost-effective. CMS setup, permissions and editable content areas are defined in the project scope.

The client retains ownership and control of their domain, branding, content and business accounts. After the project has been paid in full, the completed website deliverables belong to the client as defined in the service agreement, subject to any third-party software or licensing terms. Clients may move their website to another compatible provider, and Code Forged Digital can provide reasonable transition assistance. Migration or configuration work outside the existing agreement may involve additional fees.

The client receives an accessibility findings report identifying the issues discovered, their impact and recommended next steps. Remediation and retesting are not included in the assessment and must be scoped and contracted separately. No. Website accessibility testing and WCAG conformance do not by themselves guarantee that an organization meets all of its legal obligations under the AODA. Ontario’s website requirements apply differently depending on the organization and include defined requirements and exceptions. Code Forged Digital can design and test against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, but does not provide legal certification or legal advice. Clients remain responsible for determining their obligations using official Ontario accessibility guidance and, when necessary, qualified legal counsel.

Accessibility does not require a website to be plain, unattractive or lacking useful features. It influences design and development decisions involving colour contrast, typography, navigation, motion, forms, controls and multimedia. Visual and interactive features can usually be implemented accessibly when they are considered from the beginning. If a feature cannot be made accessible, an equivalent alternative or different design approach may be required. Planning for accessibility early is generally more effective than retrofitting it later.
